Luna Life – Privacy Notice

Luna Life Limited (“us”, or “we”) is the “data controller” in respect of your personal information. This privacy notice sets out the basis on which any of your personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. 

Please read this carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal information and how it will be treated.

1. HOW AND WHEN WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU 

We collect and process personal information when you:

  • visit our website/app (including when registering with us, leaving any reviews or comments, or filling in forms, such as when you sign up for newsletters);
  • purchase any products from our website/app (including through our affiliate marketing/partner links) or sign up to any of our services;

  • participate in our research projects, pilots, customer surveys or other market research, feedback and survey responses; and

2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU 

We and our providers and business partners who help us to operate our website and app may collect and process the following information about you which you provide to us:

  • your photograph or video/voice clips;
  • information about your health and wellbeing, such as female health tracking, how you feel and logs for pain, sleep, energy and motivation;

  • your purchase history and data about your attendance and participation at our events/research projects.

If you contact us with a complaint or question, we may keep a record of any phone number used to call us as well as details of the query or any request you had.

When you visit our website and app, we may also collect information from you automatically, for example using cookies and other similar technologies. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we may set on your device. Cookies generally only work on computers, but there are similar technologies that are used with apps.

5. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may sometimes send your personal information outside the country, including to countries, which have less strict, or no laws, when compared to the laws in the UK.

6. HOW WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We take steps to ensure that we only keep the personal information that you provide for only as long as it is necessary for the purpose we collected it. After this period it will be deleted or in some cases anonymised (which means that you can’t be identified). We may also keep a record of any questions or queries you send to us (for example if you have made a complaint) for as long as is necessary to protect us from a legal claim. 

Where we have collected the personal information based on your consent and we have no other lawful reason to continue with that processing, if you subsequently take back your consent then we will delete your personal information. However, please note that where you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we will keep a record of your email address to ensure we do not send you marketing emails in future. 

7. SECURITY AND PASSWORDS

You must keep your password and any other authentication information for our website and app confidential. If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your password or any other authentication information, you must promptly notify us using the contact details below.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted during your use of our website and app.

Our website and app may, from time to time, contain links to and from other websites and services. If you follow a link to any of these websites and/or services, please be aware that they have their own privacy notices and we are not responsible for this. We may share your personal information with our business partners and service providers, where they help us to market and advertise our services as well as provide our services to you.
